In Bi Keguan’s “Manhua de Hua yu Hua” (2002), he interviewed a number of pioneer cartoonists. In one of the articles, Mu Yilong, Huang Yao’s colleague said that every Sunday, Huang Yao arranged with him to bring some young friends such as Chen Juanjuan, Ge Zuozhi for an outing. Sometimes Li Yanzhi’s children, Li Huilang and Li Huimin as well as Yan Duhe’s son, Maomao will come along.
