May 1956: Malaya Niubizi

May 1956: Malaya Niubizi

Huang Yao once more used his most famous character as a channel for his own thoughts and experiences, creating Malaya Niubizi. In this series Niubizi wears a sarong, works with the local people, picks coconuts, collects harvests and reins bullocks to pull carts.

1974 Adam And Eve

In 1974, Huang Yao created his last cartoon series. This final set was called Eve and Adam and differed in style from his previous works. The painterly drawings depicted a naked Adam and Eve as early humans.
