		Exhibition in Shanghai
1936-1937		With friends Wang Yi Ting, Jiang Wei Qiao, Zhang Yu Guang, Zhang Xiao Lou, Hu Zao Bin, Qian Hua Fo and others who often met in the vegetarian restaurants Gong De Lin and Dang Lin, organized exhibitions in Shanghai to raise funds for victims of Huang He floods and other charities.

		The First National Exhibition of Cartoon Art
1936		Huang Yao with Ding Cong, Huang Miaozi,Lu Shaofei, Ye Qianyu, Zhang Leping, Zhang Zhengyu and others organised the exhibition, "The first National Exhibition of Cartoon Art" in 1936 in Shanghai which later travelled to Nanjing, Suzhou and Kangzhou. Further progress was stopped by the war.

Solo exhibitions in Chongqing, Chengdu, Hengyang, Guilin and Guiyang and other cities with Cartoons for the war efforts and Huang Yao's Travelogues in cartoon form.

		Ten Friends Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition
8 - 14Aug, 1957		Venue : Hong Kong. Together with Shen Xuebin, Zeng Fuyong, Wu Ziseng, Yi Junzhuo, Wang Shishao, Zhao Jietang, Zeng Houxi, Yu Dayong and Lin Qianshi held a group exhibition by friends.
